Mieko's Fitness is owned by a brother and sister team: Mieko Hart and Seiji Hart. They were born and raised in the Seattle area, and have extensive experience in the health club industry. Before starting Mieko’s Fitness, they were part of the ownership and management team of Hart's Athletic Clubs which their father founded in 1987.
In 1998, Richard Hart and his partner sold all 10
Hart's Athletic Clubs and this prompted Mieko and Seiji to get a fresh start
in the industry. In 1999, Mieko and Seiji opened their first 2 clubs in Seattle
and Edmonds under the name “Mieko’s Fitness”. Since then, Mieko’s Fitness has
continued to expand and now has 4 convenient local area locations.
Mieko’s Fitness is dedicated to providing a comfortable, caring, and friendly environment that only a local company can provide.
